What is Respite Care?
NDIS respite care is a support service that provides participants with short-term care in a safe, supportive environment while giving families and carers time to rest and recharge. Support may include supervision, daily living assistance, social and recreational activities, and help with routines, all delivered in a calm and welcoming setting.
This service is tailored to individual needs and NDIS goals, with a focus on wellbeing, comfort, and continuity of care. Respite care can be provided on a planned or short-notice basis and is funded under the NDIS Core Supports budget to support both participants and their carers while maintaining stability and quality of life.

Short-Term Accommodation
Our Short-Term Accommodation provides comfortable, welcoming stays that give participants a safe space to relax while families enjoy peace of mind. We tailor each stay to individual needs, ensuring supportive routines, meaningful activities, and a positive environment that feels like a home away from home.
Engaging Activities
We create fun and fulfilling experiences that promote connection, relaxation, and independence. Whether through engaging activities, social opportunities, or meaningful daily routines, we ensure every participant enjoys a supportive environment that encourages confidence, comfort, and a sense of belonging.
Personalised Support
We offer personalised support tailored to each individual’s needs, interests, and daily routines. Our team takes the time to understand what matters most, creating a compassionate and consistent care experience that supports comfort, independence, and overall wellbeing.
Homelike Comfort
We provide a true home-away-from-home environment where participants feel valued, comfortable, and refreshed. Our warm, friendly spaces are designed to offer safety, relaxation, and genuine connection, ensuring every stay feels supportive, welcoming, and uplifting.
Packages:
Fluid Solutions offers a range of carefully curated respite experiences designed to support wellbeing, independence, and meaningful connection. Our 2025 respite packages provide participants with the opportunity to enjoy new environments, build confidence, and engage in enriching activities—while receiving personalised, high-quality support.
Each respite package is available with 1:1 or 2:2 support, ensuring the level of care is tailored to individual needs, preferences, and goals. Whether participants are seeking relaxation, adventure, nature-based experiences, or social connection, our team works closely with each participant to create a safe, enjoyable, and supportive experience.
Dates and times are flexible and will be organised in collaboration with the participant and/or their guardian, allowing for a person-centred approach that suits individual schedules and support requirements.
Our respite locations have been thoughtfully selected to offer a variety of experiences, including nature retreats, wildlife encounters, creative and recreational activities, and opportunities for rest and reflection. All packages are designed to promote choice, comfort, and positive outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on safety and wellbeing.
